Storm-Damaged Roof & Gutter Replacement in Allen, TX

A roof and gutters badly damaged in a storm, replaced and upgraded to Class 4 impact-resistant shingles so the home is ready for the next one.

The Situation

A homeowner in Allen had a roof and gutters that were severely damaged in a storm. Thankfully, the windows all stayed intact and the storm didn’t breach the inside of the home. Concord Roofing & Construction came out for a roof inspection, checked the roof and gutters, and prepared a detailed repair estimate the homeowner could share with their insurance company. Once the claim was approved, we were on the job to replace the roof and gutters and get the home protected from future storms.

The Scope of Work

  • We removed all of the old materials, including the gutters, shingles, and underlayment, then inspected the wood decking to make sure it didn’t need any repairs before the new roof went on.
  • Plywood shields protected the windows and landscaping throughout the job.
  • With the decking checked, we installed new underlayment and shingles, upgrading the homeowner to Atlas Pinnacle Impact Class 4 impact-resistant shingles to help keep the next storm from causing the same damage.
  • After the roof was finished, we installed new gutters to match the existing look of the home.

The Result
