Storm and wind damage on a two-story Princeton home, fixed in three days with new felt underlayment, an ice and water barrier, IKO Cambridge architectural shingles, and matching hip and ridge.
The homeowners of this two-story home in Princeton contacted Concord Roofing & Construction after a storm and strong winds damaged the shingles on their roof. The damage needed attention right away, so our team got to work on a full repair with all the necessary elements.
First, the damaged roofing came off, with plywood over the garage door to protect it from falling debris and tarps down to protect the yard below.
With the old shingles gone, we replaced the felt underlayment to give the new roof a solid base.
Next, we installed a new ice and water barrier to help protect against leaks in the roof’s most vulnerable areas.
Then the new shingles went on. We used IKO Cambridge architectural shingles, and the hip and ridge sections were updated to match, so everything looks seamless and performs the way it should.
From start to finish, the job took three days.
This home now has a roof with brand-new shingles, a fresh layer of felt, a secure ice and water barrier, and upgraded hip and ridge sections, ready to stand up to the next North Texas storm.
