Horizontal Wood Privacy Fence & Automatic Gate in Plano, TX

The Situation

A homeowner in Plano contacted us about replacing their old shadowbox-style fence and adding an automatic gate to make it easier to pull vehicles into their detached garage. Concord Roofing & Construction took a look at the job and what the homeowner wanted. We went over different fence styles and what would fit their yard, and they chose a horizontal stained wood privacy fence with steel framing and an automatic gate.

The Scope of Work

• Concord Roofing & Construction facilitated the removal of the old fence without destroying the yard and with as little disruption to the neighbors as possible.
• We laid the foundation for the gate and installed the steel posts.
• We finished the steel framing between the posts and added the stained horizontal pickets.
• Once that was done, the gate was installed and wired for automatic operation.

The Result

This beautiful fence gives the homeowner more privacy than the old shadowbox fence, and the automatic gate means they no longer have to get out of the vehicle in bad weather to open it and pull into the garage.
