A storm-damaged roof on a McKinney pediatric clinic, replaced with a standing seam metal roof and an accent color on the turrets and eave.
Our friends at All About Children Pediatrics had one of their buildings in McKinney come through a rough North Texas storm, and the roof took a lot of damage. They called Concord Roofing & Construction for a roof inspection and an estimate for a replacement. Once that was approved, we put in the work to get this beautiful building back to looking its best.
First order of business was protecting the windows and landscaping, then tearing off the old roof.
Once that was complete and the needed roof repairs were made, the building was ready for its new roof.
Next, the underlayment went down: a synthetic felt that gives the roof an added layer of ice and water resistance beneath the metal.
With that in place, the standing seam metal roof could finally go on, with an accent color used on the turrets and eave of the building.
Finally, we cleaned up the work area, and once the sun came back out, this building was looking great!
Texas can have some crazy weather, and the roof is a building’s first line of defense. The old roof did take damage, but it did its job: nothing else in the building was structurally damaged. With a new standing seam metal roof in place, this building is looking great again for all the staff and patients who walk through its doors.
